Well it's Monday December 27 and I'm happy to say I'm on vacation. The snow is falling now, though the BIG storm of yesterday came early with 3 or 4 inches of snow which soon was ice and then slush all melted away by morning. We had 60 mile an hour of gusts and a steady 35 mile an hour of winds. We lost power at around 7:15 and came back on by 2:00 am. Not too bad. Dogs cuddled in. An extra blanket and total hunkering down.  Nothings like a good storm.
