Encaustic Conference

New Venue/New Excitement/Sign Up Now

So in case anyone is reading my blog, the 5th International Encaustic Conference will be quite an event.
New Postcard, coming out soon, if you would like a stack to pass around, let me know.

So far there are 193 people registered, from 29 states and 2 countries. I know there are a lot of people out there that love to procrastinate (as I am one of them). But the conference is full at 250 and we are over 75% full, so don't wait too much longer. Also Cape Air is offering a 10% discount if you fly from Boston.  When you make reservations, you need to call Cape Air directly. They are affiliated with Jet Blue [same terminal] just so you know.

New: A special deal for Conferees on Cape Air from Boston/Logan:
$189.79 round trip
It's available June1-12. When you call for reservations, use this reference code:
PVC CONF

Lots of excitement, lots of new blood, lots of wax, lots still to learn, lots of snow.

It's a really good time! No one has ever left The Encaustic Conference disappointed with its format or events. "Three days of waxy goodness" is how conferee Jhina Alvarado has described it.

The Encaustic Conference has never been affiliated with any other encaustic group or organization, though we welcome the participation of members so aligned. Membership is not a prerequisite for registration. Everyone who works in encaustic is welcome to register.

  1. I read your blog :) but I am not able to attend the conference. I wish I could but I have horrible health. Please post some of the art the students do. I would love to see it.
